Mike O'dowd has just joined the studio as a musician and sound engineer.

Mike is a professional musician with professional standard in drums, guitar, bass, piano, singing, arranging, production and song writing. He is also a great sound enginer and lectures about sound engineering in AIT.

Mike would be ideal for people who need someone to accompany them.

Producer Vincent Rateau will be working at the studio from the middle of March until the middle of May. Vincent's forte is Reggae, dub, hiphop and electronica.

Max Krock was recording his piano improvisations album when we heard that drummer Simon Kenny was passing through Loughrea. I setup the drums and around 6 Simon arrived.

The guys never met before, but played for a delightful hour.

Camera work is horrible since I didn't want to destroy the music flow for the sake of the video.

Barcelona based salsa group "Ocho Punto G" has an Argentinian pianist, singer from Dominican Republic, brass players from France and bass player from Puerto Rico. 

Still - they ended up recording this song in Ireland. 

This is probably not the final mix as they are back in November. 

Song starts at about 2minutes, but worth seeing it from the beginning. 

From Wicklow, black metal band Crom Cruach came to record their album.

The whole albm was recorded live. Drums, vocals and a guitar that was connected to both bass and guitar amps.
